Veterans rated at 30% or higher may receive additional compensation for eligible dependents, including spouses, children, and dependent parents.
VA disability benefits are paid one month in arrears, meaning you receive payment for the previous month. If the first day of the month falls on a weekend or federal holiday, payment is typically issued on the last business day before.
